Looks like Batch has injured his elbow/arm in Poland today. Initial estimates are 4 weeks out.
That's Swindon's season well and truly fucked unless a decent replacement can be found sharpish. R/R is a non starter and the worst possible blow to the team.
Bloody poxy Foreign knockabout meeting!

Bloody poxy Foreign knockabout meeting! Frig... er Oooogen Mcdoogen , It's high time British Speeedway stopped the dodgy Swedes and Poles from using the riders contracted to our teams. Who paid for Troy's air fare? I bet it was Swindon.

It appears that Batchelor was involved in a training session of Leszno's juniors when he tangled with Adrian Gomolski and Adam Kajoch - Batchelor and Kajoch off to hospital, while Gomolski seems to have emerged in one piece. Best wishes to Batchelor for a speedy recovery.

Do they really not like Swindon, then? ;D (well the four smileys worked with Nobby, so I hope they do with Schumi )

Schumi is far more volatile than Norbert.............. Best wishes to Troy - he's a rider who's been on top form, and one I follow. Hopefully his injury won't keep him out for too long.

I know people dont like Jesper B. Monberg (hence why i mentioned it on the BSF as a wind up), but what is the reason? Seems i have missed something major about him that has caused everyone to dislike him. Has he publicly criticised clubs/people, not turned up, not put any effort in when riding

It's not a case of not liking him (unless you're genghis) but some of us take notice of the bigger picture. Jesper's just been dropped by Hammarby for scoring poorly, and he's not doing much better anywhere else.

Has he publicly criticised clubs/people, not turned up, not put any effort in when riding Well we welcomed Jesper back with open arms to Ippo last season, and for 1 meeting he was brilliant , after that it went down hill rapidly, until after a lengthy spell out injured, he returned to "ride" against Peterboro(his parent club) to complete his 6 home and away's to reduce his high average earned in 2006, well he trundled round for 1 race only and scored 1 pt, and then retired from the meeting, to hide in the office so the Ippo riders could not find him (trust me they were after him). Witch did actually post a picture of him that night in his pits with LF, heads together . Draw your own conclusions....we all did and feel very let down by Jesper, who was a very popular rider at Ipswich until then

I quite liked Jesper B when he rode for Oxford in 2005. But I felt he let the Cheetahs down badly in 2007. Even before the farce at Wolves. And the Ippo fans have the same impression.

Yes one of the reasons why we have not as yet replaced Chris, is due to the fiasco of Jesper's return last season (I would like to make it plain, that he was never a like for like replacement for Mark, but he also wasn't supposed to be a like for like replacement for one of the reserves . His commitment and reliability was very questionable)
