So Swindon will be operating R/R for Troy, whilst Magnus Zetterstrom suffered a hand injury in Sweden last night and has also been ruled out. Jordan Frampton comes in to replace him at number 6 for both meetings.

Finished 53:40, with a surprising score for Daniel Davidsson (13+1) at reserve for the home team. Holder, Pedersen and Watt all scored double figures, with Skornicki also doing a solid job, whilst Freddie will be disappointed with his score (2+1 from 4). The Robins were hit by the loss of Troy, with McGowan and Wright not able to do the same job, but Leigh Adams showed class with a full maximum. Swindon are going to have a hard job pulling this one back, but it's not impossible.

And the Pirates progress through to the next round, although Swindon won at the Abbey and took the tie to a last heat decider (50: 40 on the night, 90-93 on aggregate). Another maximum for the one they call "Mr Clean" down Swindon way (14+1 from 5 rides) and he received solid backing from Korneliussen (10+3 from 5 rides) and even McGowan (9 from 5 rides). But the star was probably reserve James Wright (14 from 7 rides), while the less said about Alden (3+2 from 4 rides) and Hauzinger (0 from 3 rides) the better. More or less solid scoring all the way in the Pirates team, except for Jordan Frampton (1 from 3 rides), who perhaps found the going a little tough in the higher league.
