Lets stitch up a well run Elite league outfit LOL. Not as funny as your inability to use and edit a simple quote function on a proboard - Cretin! ;D

I would like to nominate Subedei for having not yet selected the Mutt Nutt's award... for a thread that started in April Mind you, he's too busy harping on about his New bloody Jerusalem on the BSF to notice. EDIT: BTW, who's choosing FOTW this week? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.

Not the first time these spineless tossers have stitched up Peterborough Speedway! NCH - take a long, deep breath... And realise you've been awarded TRIPLE special dispensation.

Lets stitch up a well run Elite league outfit Are people really so deluded at Peterborough? what the fuck has any of that got to do with the Panthers Speedway Supporting Public ? Nothing to do with the public per se, but the past sins of your leader invariably mean the BSPA isn't going to be particularly accommodating. It was not about trying to points score, but to shed light on why the BSPA are apparently 'out to stitch-up Peterborough'. After all, it doesn't look good for anyone in the sport if you close down a team mid-season, and skip town leaving monies outstanding. because they want to win some pathetic personal point scoring over the Peterborough promotion. Well I make no bones about the fact that I want to see Lord Flapperjack out of the sport, because I think he's been hugely damaging to it. I don't have anything against his co-promoter, apart from when he comes to the defence of his master (although even that's been a bit muted in recent months ).

So why are Peterborough Panthers not a well run Elite league outfit then? Yawns , rubs eyes , stretches arms out and ZZZzzzzz. Answers on a Dutch Postcard with a windmill on it! ;D

If you're saying Peterborough isn't well run then it's not surprising Bratters gets upset. He is co-promoter and does much hard work for a club you think is a shambles? The BSPA needs to think of the sport first and their petty squabbling second. If they don't want Colin in the sport then they shouldn't have allowed him to run Peterborough in 2008. Perhaps they never had the balls to do that because they might lose another track but the way they're going

Perhaps they never had the balls to do that because they might lose another track but the way they're going It's not like people are falling over themselves to run a BEL track, so the BSPA undoubtedly are prepared to overlook disreputable behaviour in order to prop-up the ailing BEL. In previous eras, its quite possible His Lordship would have long since been told he wasn't welcome to promote anymore, but we live in strange times. And as for being well run or not, is it normal for a limited company to never file public accounts?

We do live in strange times and the reason people are not falling over themselves, as you hint at, to get involved says more about how our sport is run by oops, the clowns of the BSPA again! The auditors for the EU have refused to sign off the bloc's financial accounts for the 13 years in a row so we're small fry really if you look at it in similar terms.

It's not some sort of non-corporeal body handing down judgements from upon high, but the actual promoters themselves. The promoters make the bed they're lying in. You're right though. If I were willing to burn some money, I still wouldn't with the current shower who're involved in the sport. The auditors for the EU have refused to sign off the bloc's financial accounts for the 13 years in a row so we're small fry really if you look at it in similar terms. It is still a legal requirement in the UK, and a promotion with a turnover of (what) GBP 500K is hardly comparable to a political bloc of 27 countries with a collective budget of EUR 135 billion.

Am bored now and this is miles off thread topic.. I have nominated the BSPA for Flapperjack room 101..

It is still a legal requirement in the UK If that's the case then I don't see the problem? Why aren't official departments interested? They seem to chase anyone else who might owe them a fiver
