An easy away for Lakeside here surely . Kling and Kylmakorpi will score a barrel load tonight . Belle Vue's reserves would both be riding at reserve in the PL never mind the" gate and go" league .

You never can tell though Paulco................we had it in the bag at Kirky Lane in the A fixture..............and then bang, AJ and Leigh were wiped out. I'm waiting for the fat lady to start singing before I add the three points to Lakeside's total.

And the Hammers take the win at Kirkmanshulme Lane (42:48). So, the fat lady can sing, or if she's not around, Joe Screen can fill in. For the Aces Jason Crump went through the card unbeaten, scoring 15 from 5 rides. And he received solid backing from Charlie Gjedde (12 from 5), but the other five riders managed just 15 points between them. A sorry showing from the Aces' lower order. For the happy Hammers, reserve Joonas Kylmakorpi led the way, scoring 12+2 from 6 rides, while Andreas Jonsson, who only tasted defeat at the hands of Crump, scored 12 points from 5 rides.

Seriously, I think we'll have to be at the top of our game to take anything from Eastbourne.............yes I know that Peterborough only lost by two etc, but you Eagles always up your game when Cookie comes to town...........it should make good viewing whatever.

Not one comment about Kylmakorpi being at reserve Sub, do I detect a touch of bias here...

Not one comment about Kylmakorpi being at reserve Sub, do I detect a touch of bias here... I don't think a rider of the stature of Kylmakorpi should be allowed to ride at reserve. That was my stance when Coventry had the Joke and Johnston at reserve and it remains my stance now. I am as constant as the Northern Star.

Very poor reserves will cost Belle Vue until Boxall comes back. Joe Screen should be doing a better job too.

By the Joke I take it you a referring to Billy Janniro...? Yes, I am. Janniro has made his bed, he can lie in it. A rider with a reasonable amount of talent, who seems quite content to underachieve and have a laugh.

Kylmakorpi wouldn't have been at reserve if the BSPA had adopted Stuart Douglas' proposals regarding 'established' riders during the winter. They (BSPA) however, know best, so we (Lakeside) have to abide by the same rules that apply to everyone............it seems it's the best possible way for Stanley to say "I told you so".

Oh, you and Sub aren't going to start this nonsense again, are you? Douglas has got it wrong regarding reserves. He obviously didn't took notice of the Boxall/Armstrong farce in 2006 when this was tried in the Premier League.
