Congratulations to Scott Nicholls, the former former British Champion. No, that's too cumbersome. Well, the "reigning British Champion" is shorter.

There was a very good crowd and we ended up on the back straight after all, with the some of WWoS Coventry contingent..so I didn't get to see Zonkers...sorry Firstly congratulations to Scott, I'm very pleased that he won.. I felt very undecided going into the final ,which of the two, him or Bomber would get it ,I thought Bomber looked most comfortable...It really was a two horse race as far as the winner was concerned, the others were nowhere near them. I was expecting a bit of a scrap and came away kind of disappointed, with Bomber lagging back in fourth and nowhere near him...Oh well all's well that ends well.. Well done to Ed Kennet for getting the wild card. Great to see some of the other riders performing well, Tai is a cracker and very popular too..... A meeting without horrible crashes aswell...

We were standing on the back straight too....... !! (Just past the second bend, at the front against the wall. ! Had a great view ! ). Was disappointed there was no grandstand seating area though, and I have to say was disappointed in general with the stadium - very grotty - and I thought Kings Lynn was bad !! On a positive note, the track itself was great, which I guess is the main thing ! Yes - shame I didn't get to meet you Jacques - some other time no doubt ! Good to see Crazy Sue again ! Agree - huge crowd - good to see so many people there. And good weather too - nice and warm . Think it was probably one of the driest places in the country yesterday ! Well done to Tai - he was fantastic! Gutted he didn't get first or second, but a very respectable 3rd - with more to more come in future I'm sure.

The toilets were very bad - and I heard the gents were worse ! Luckily my boys are still young enough for me to take them in the ladies ! And no soap AGAIN !! I'm sick of going to stadium toilets with no bloody soap - how much does it cost FFS?? As for Scott, well, yes he rode well. but it was all about gating last night tbh.... and he gated well. Not much passing ability on the track ....

I didn't know you were there did I, you didn't say you were going..? Jacques, You've got a point there I should have realised that you would have been in attendance to watch the former British Champion become the reigning British Champion. OK, plenty of prior notice, are you going to Zummerset for the Premier League Pairs?

It's the usual stadium type food .. burgers etc.. I've never eaten it, so can't comment on it's quality... In all honesty, no joking, no wind-ups, the food at Brandon is abysmal!!! Yes I know, I wouldn't give it to Jacques...but we're on about Swindon Kev...

OK, plenty of prior notice, are you going to Zummerset for the Premier League Pairs? I doubt it, when is it? 'Tis the night before Cardiff, young Jacques. It's also certainly due to be a cracking meeting as: (a) Somerset is one of the best racetracks in the country (b) It consists of good, honest PL riders, instead of those whining EL prima donnas Go on - spoil yourself

There is a group of us stopping the weekend in Cardiff, so it's unlikely, unless I can persuade them to go on a detour first...
