I don't think it will count - wasn't PK's track record at Peterborough expunged after the meeting was abandoned?

Think it was Leigh Adam's TR at Peterborough that didn't stand.
However Rob's explanation is wrong. TR's can be broken in challenge meetings, which is what the Oxford meetings became, rather than not happening at all. I believe the meeting has to be completed for them to stand, though and Harris' won't.

Silverbee, It's a grey area, but my understanding is that the Oxford Elite League meetings from 2007 were completely expunged from the official records. Only the two KOC matches against Ipswich stay in the official records. Any appearances made and points scored in the Elite League matches do not count to the riders' career statistics. It's as if the matches never took place.

I still believe that the 2 are different situations. I don't think Harris' should stand based on previous rulings (Adams at Peterborough on Sky a few years back) but I don't think that you could decide whether PK's does or doesn't stand using the same rulings.

It's all very hazy, isn't it? My gut feeling is the track record should stand whether it's a challenge match or an abandoned meeting - the rider has still gone out there and set that time. What's the track record now listed in the Coventry programme?
