With a bit of luck we'll get to see some live Speedway this friday as the forecast is looking a bit better..
It's my understanding from reading the thread on the BSF that Rory will be missing for Coventry as he's in a GP qualifier..Olly wll be back though, not sure about Andreas.
Iversen will still be missing for Wolves, as well as Hansen Klindt and Heffenbrock ...who are taking part in other meetings also..
I'm struggling to get too excited about this meeting, but it will be good to see some Speedway.

I too will be pleased to see a bit of live stuff, but as you know most of the excitement has gone for me already this season. Then, refreshed, I can go and spend the entire weekend at that world famous place you have never heard of.

It will be more like a Bees select against a EL/PL select side with the amount of guests that will have to be used .

Hey, if Olly is aok it's only Rory's replacement that isn't a Bees rider for us & tbh i'd rather watch Ben than whatsisname.

Sounds like an eventual night at Cov. Bomber broke the track record and then they had a powercut and the meeting was abandoned.
I'm sure young Jacques will fill in the blanks once she gets home.

It's incredible the bollocks you read on the BSF, so Allen Trump was signing all our tickets on the way out was he .... I spoke to a member of staff on the way out, he said that the tickets are valid for any ONE meetinmg until the end of the season...Obviously don't quote me on that.... The power went back on at about 21.55hrs as we were there, just going by the time on my mobile...It was the right decision to call it off..I'm local we get power off all the time, some times it's hours on end.... Shame, but there you go.......

So with this meeting being restaged, I guess it means Bomber's track record never was because officially that race never happened?

So with this meeting being restaged, I guess it means Bomber's track record never was because officially that race never happened? Kev, I'm pretty sure it will count. Peter Karlsson set the Wolves track record during a Wolves vs Oxford meeting last year. The meeting was expunged from the records, but the track record wasn't. I don't think it has to be an official race. Track records can be set during individual meetings / challenges can't they. The only time I've known a track record disallowed was when Hans Nielsen broke the Reading track record. That was an official meeting, but disallowed since it was a green light start. I think Bomber's record stands.
