And maybe now Poole fans will start to realise what a waste of space Davey Watt is. Instead of getting the points needed to get his side through to the final, Watt was moaning about track conditions. Typical Watt

Can't believe it, and there are a few less than happy bunnies on the BSF, but brilliant result for Coventry - well done.

Oh, ye Jacques of little faith...
Young Nick absolutely loved it, and now thinks its that good every week.
He thinks that the disabled viewing area at Brandon is one of the best in motor sport.

Well even in the cold light of day you have to say that was just an incredible performance from the Bees...That meeting was better than the play off final and without all the nerves ,cos nobody expected it.. What a turnaround from me and a few others, who had written them off last night...didn't we Booey and Beeone.. I have levelled criticism at Allen Trump and the way the stadium is being run now, in fact we even joked that the scoreboard hadn't actually been broken at all, he'd just switched it off to save on the electric bill.. But that's how people were feeling and frankly it's been deserved.. I have levelled crictism at certain riders ,which I make no apologies for because they set themselves up to be shot at...there are still issues with Rory, but the rest last night were impeccable. Bomber just awesome, that's the best I've seen him ride, the track was nice and mucky and he lapped it up. BJ....what can I say yet another sterling performance from the Brandon favourite...he really is such a gem, you know you can rely on him when the going gets tough and I suspect that's why they put him out in heat 15, ya don't mess with BJ. I'm not going to on about Rory, there a definitely issues with him, lets hope he can sort it out. R/R top bloke as usual... Stead, looked the most comfortable i've seen him this season. He too enjoyed the grippy track and was not locking up every few yards like he has been...A great performance, lets have the same away from home please. Ah now Stan the Man...Just gets better and better, he battles so hard in every race. Another huge favourite for me. Ben, what a shame he came off in his first heat, looked like he was trying too hard..He didn't have a great night after that, but there is definitely potential there and if I were Allen Trump I'd be snapping him up. I do hope Bjarne injury isn't too bad, the crash was awful, his bike was all mangled up, amazingly he walked away.. It was great to see the big smiley faces in the stadium last night, altough I'm sure people were still pinching themsleves this morning..i know I was. Well done the Bees. So now for Lakeside in the final....a certain member here reckons we need to lock up our track record cos AJ is coming to town.. well you didn't see the Bomber last night mate!

I know I didn't, I was watching the majestic Andreas Jonsson thrilling the masses down by the side of the lake. May the best team win.

OK i'll give my own synopsis on each individual. For the Swashbucklers. Bjarne: A shadow of 2 weeks ago, maybe Pirates would've been through had he not withdrawn, maybe not. R/R: Much better than the nomadic Zombik Watt: Can't handle the dirt & whinged about it apparently. Eriksson: Ditto above & almost stopped at one point cos he found a bit of it up high. Holder: The only Pirate to show his mettle, but bowed under pressure in 15. Watson:Rode like he was sitting in an armchair. Adam: Only any good from the gate, plagued later on with machine problems(too many races) For the marauding Bees. Bomber: In a word. Spectacular. R/R Did Olly justice Rory: Picked up when it mattered, but heat 3 was an abysmal ride. Billy: Don't ya just love 'im. Simon:Showed his liking for a grippy track, but still despite a top score he was locking on the top bend. Ben: 1point scored, 100% for effort, also his attitude is a breath of fresh air, hope his voice breaks soon though bless him. ;D Stan: pretty average throughout but when it counted in 14, the man became a mountain.
