Lee Richardson has been involved in an incident in Poland which saw all four riders fall in their first heat. Both Richardson and his team-mate, Michal Szczepaniak, withdrew from the meeting. Reports are that he won't be riding on Saturday as he has injured his arm.

Oh dear that is not good, we are already going into this without Brundle (Injured) and Gustafsson (World U21) so will have Glenn Philips and Brent Werner replacing them.
I think this will be our toughest home test yet, and may not go Eastbournes way.

You've also got to bear in mind that Swindon have it going for them at the moment, very high on confidence, with riders improving every meeting ...it's an away win for me...

Not a happy return to Poland for Lee Richardson - let's hope it's not as serious as first reported and that he's back on track very shortly. Anyone wanting to watch the Czestochowa versus Torun meeting should try the following link: www.itvp.pl/event/zuzel/?tab=8Just click on the relevant picture and watch all manner of fun and games, including Hans Andersen discovering the the EoES grass-tracking move doesn't work in Poland - you get excluded for leaving the track. You really do have to marvel at the professionalism of the sport over in Poland.

The latest is that Lee has just bruised his hand and WILL race on saturday, hopefully it won't effect his performance too much.

Eastbourne:
1..Scott Nicholls 2..Lewis Bridger 3..Lee Richardson 4..Cameron Woodward 5..Edward Kennett 6..Glen Phillips 7..Brent Werner
Swindon:
1..Leigh Adams 2..James Wright 3..Mads Korneliussen 4..Travis McGowan 5..Troy Batchelor 6..Theo Pijper 7..Seb Alden
Interim averages mean that Mads moves up to number three. Guests for Eastbourne's reserves are yet to be announced, but Theo Pijper makes his return from injury.

Finished as a 46:44 home win, with Nicholls top scoring for the Eagles, and Adams, as you'd expect, for the Robins.
Some are questioning the inclusion of Travis McGowan in heat 15 which decided the meeting, but more interestingly, this fixture has resulted in a £1,000 bet between Vincent Vega and Gary Patchett as to which of their teams will finish higher in the league.

Bloody Hell, Patchett must have more money than sense.

Good meeting with a fantastic last heat decider.
With eastbourne having 2 very weak reserves, we needed our top 5 top perform well and thankfully 4 of them did.
Rico did well with his bruised hand and even managed to draw the raffle with it. Cameron 2008 version was back, and Ed was superb and won us the meeting with his pass of Travis in 15. Scotty was just awesome, dropped just one point to Adams.
For Swindon, you could say Adams had an off night with just 2 heat wins and missing the gate twice. Seb Alden was a surprise for me. Overall, this was one of Swindons better visits to Arlington.
Heat 15 was amazing. The Robins made the gate, but Nicholls got inside them with a great cutback. Adams then slowed to team ride McGowan. For some reason he seemed to stop team riding on the 3rd lap which allowed Kennett to pass McGowan to take victory for the Eagles.
As for who should have been in heat 15, I would have Batchelor in but there really wasn't much difference in their performances.
