No, I was quite impressed by Glasgow's battling performance at Birmingham on Wednesday night, so I'm going for a home win with young Brady again the match-winner. Brady will soil his kevlars the minute he sees Carl Wilkinson on track - great little rider, Wilkinson. And according to the Glasgow website Kauko Nieminen - a former heathen Tiger, of course - will be guesting in place of the Messiah. If young Brady is popping out fo the tapes like he did on Wednesday night, then Wilkinson won't get anywhere near him.

Scunthorpe have no riders with a noted Ashfield pedigree , so as long as Ross keeps up the good work we should be okay . Look out for a few changes in the coming weeks though

Is this a case of "I know something you don't know"?

Is this a case of "I know something you don't know"? No not at all . It's just plainly obvious that changes are going to have to be made . Big Lee tries his hardest , everybody knows that , but away from home he would be as well stood on the terraces beside me . The young laddie Mitchell is as much a PL rider as the young Finn the Monarchs had last year . He might come good , but he has a long way to go . Sheffield apart , where the track was one of the worst i've ever seen , Ross has got his act together . Whether this will continue is another matter . Trent is up and down , but does a solid enough job . Robert has had a pretty decent last 7 days , but had been very disappointing up to that point . Then there are the injuries to Shane and Josh . Josh will be about another 2-3 weeks , but Shane will be out a bit longer than that . We had heard Craig Watson was coming back to replace Shane till he was fit , but then the opening at Birmingham arose and that was that because Wato's main gripe last year was the travelling . I know there is stuff in the pipeline , but the management are keeping things close to their chest . What average would Antonio Lindback come into the PL on .

And although they made hard work of it, the heathen Tigers managed to win, just (46:44). A Messiah-like performance from guest Kauko Nieminen, scoring 14 from 5 rides, helped the Tigers overcome an early 2-10 deficit. He received good support from Australian Pole Robert Ksiezak (11+1 from 6), while Mrs Brady put in a brave performance at reserve (11 from 7). For the Scorpions there were good performances from ex-Monarch Karlsson (14 from 6), Wilkinson (8+3 from 5), Moore (9+1 from 5) and reserve Bergstrom (9+1 from 7). But a poor showing from the lesser Compton (1 from 3) probably cost them the points.

Can someone explain why the updater on the Easy Tiger forum, had Scunthorpe as Sc.unthorpe...? Yes. I'd say the "swear filter" on the boardnation site would've changed the name to Sthingythorpe otherwise. You should be able to change the setting so that it doesn't do that, like we have here, but they're heathens you know.

Anyway, I notice Glasgow won as I predicted. See Jacques I do get it right... sometimes

We made hard work of beating an average looking Scunthorpe side . Returning hero Kauko Neiminen put in a messiahesque performance today to win us the meeting . But it's nowt to get excited about as next weeks visit from Havvy , Grievsy and guest Aaron Sumner ( for Josh Auty ) fills me with dread .

Paulco - with no bouns points, a win is a win, whether by two points or by 40. What's wrong with young Auty - is he injured?
