Adrian and Michal have been in superb form at home and last night especially Adrian who never looked like he was going to get beat even the greater Compton struggled to keep up with him(maybe he's too busy thinking about helicopters) The last 2 home meetings have seen them get 5-1s in Ht 15 something we struggled to do last year. These two guys have shown that aggression we need as well. If they can maintain their home performances then we are definately on the up!

And for those of us who can't make the long trek up to Shielfield Park, this is the IOW press release I received this morning:
Looking ahead to a week next Tuesday (May 6) the cameras of Sky Sports TV will be at Smallbrook for our home league match against the current Premier League leaders, the Berwick Bandits. DO look out next week for a rather special offer for ALL those attending on the night - and offer that's simply TOO GOOD TO MISS FOR ALL FANS ON THE ISLAND OR WITHIN EASY TRAVEL DISTANCE ON THE MAINLAND! Full details of that offer will be issued in due course.
Interesting that Sky updated their fixture list yesterday, but haven't got this one listed yet, although I believe it was mentioned during Monday's meeting.

GOLDMEMBER ur treading on thin ice ma boy,are tring to say norris hurt his back humping my mother This statement was issued by Nitro via his online octane webpage: Due to a back injury caused riding in a pairs event i am been declared unfit to chaffeur grumps round the speedway tracks of the North, furthermore i am likely to be out of action for up to 12 weeks. Sadly my new kevlars were torn in the accident and new paint brush bristles were completely ruined. I will keep all you Nitroheids updated with the latest news via the octane club. Nitro. Hope this helps grumps. Anyway back to proper speedway, with Adrian racing in Europe this weekend and only R/R being available, i am thinking we may struggle against the West Lothian Waste and Refuse Monarchs.
