the bees finally win at home again, thanks largely to the fact that 9 of the 15 races included zabik or suchecki and they scored a big fat zero between them. no doubt jacques and co are sitting in the stands pointing at shovlars army, singing "can we play you every week"

Poole have got two thirds of their Poles back. And probably wish they hadn't - Zabik and Suchecki failed to trouble the score as Coventry narrowly edged the win (48:45). And it isn't as if they were given enough opportunities to score - they had nine rides between them. For Coventry the hero and top scorer was, somewhat surprisingly, Stanislaw Burza, who scored 10+1 from 5 rides. A super effort from the ex-Bandit. Messing and Stead remain concerns - Stead only managed 5 from 4. For Poole everyone except for their Poles scored reasonably, but the star was Bjarne Pedersen who claimed an 18 point maximum.

sorry, but it's a pet hate of mine Don't apologise, its one of mine. Every time I hear the prick that is Jonathan Green spout it out I want to take to him with a meat cleaver. How long has he been covering our sport? Moron. Then he taught the easily suggestible Kelvin Tatum to use it, who often behaves as if he only recently encountered speedway for the first time despite hs many years as a top rider. Nurse, time for my shots again. So pleased that the Bees won, shame I couldn't be there tonight. Poles eh? They should stick to plumbing.

Jonathan Green is leaving the speedway Sky team soon, apparently. He's got an F1 gig with Bernie Ecclescake. As for Poles, it's hard to disagree. Why clubs fill their teams with them, I don't know. They're always going to let you down (well, with a few exceptions e.g. Adam Skornicki - he's a top bloke).

Bollocks. You go back to the 1930s/1940s/1950s Speedway News, and it's still "meetings/matches/riding" not fucking "playing". It's "can we ride you every week" or nothing.

anyway if your happy to sit there and sing 'can we ride you every week' your choice but leave me out. And that sounds rather degenerate and sordid anyway.

Genghis, that post truly made me laugh out loud. Just the sort of stuff comes out in the bar at Brandon after the match( is ridden). Especially between the Cleaver brothers.

Are Tesco or MacDonalds doing a degree in Speedway studies then? my advise would be stick to pollution. Does that include self-pollution?
