Lakeside:
1..C Louis 2..L Lanham 3..A Shields 4..J Kylmakorpi 5..J Davidsson 6..R Kling 7..L Tomicek
Poole:
1..B Pedersen 2..C Woodward (guest) 3..D Watt 4..R/R 5..C Holder 6..A Bargh 7..F Eriksson
Zabik is the only rider in any doubt for Friday's meeting, after falling at home last night and withdrawing from the rest of the meeting. Bjarne's going to need to get himself sorted if he's going to lead the pirates anywhere near victory, and I think this'll be a comfortable home win.
Andreas is hoping to be riding in Poland this Sunday, so if all goes well, this should be the last of the meetings where the Hammers need a guest.

I'm actually surprised Loobie hasn't bowed out of this one. Oh well, we shall see. Come on the hammers - time to put those Pirates in their place!

From the Poole site www.poolespeedway.net/08-website/index.phpNone of Poole's 3 poles will be at Lakeside for one reason or another. R/R for Zabik Cameron Woodward for Skornicki Andrew Bargh for Suchecki I just hope we get Cameron back in one piece, and that on this trip to Lakeside he is on the losing side, which is more than likely.

No, just Shovlar talking out of the wrong orifice again. Hammers' website is today still saying it's Louis.

And Lakeside managed to win, just about (48:45). For the Hammers the stand out performance was from Lubos Tomicek, who scored 12+1 from 5 rides, while his partner at reserve, Ricky Kling, managed 3 from 3 rides. The Hammers have good reserves, but one is good at home and one is better away. That said, they're both better than Joonas Kylmakorpi at the minute. He scored just 1 from 4 rides and is a bit of a waste of a racesuit at the minute. The Pirates, no doubt helped by not having any of their Polish riders at the Arena Essex raceway, for one reason or another, were fairly solid, with only Andrew Bargh failing to get among the points.

A thoroughly entertaining meeting was marred by some appauling refereing decisions tonight...........it appears it's quite acceptable to ride straight into your opponent catapaulting him into the air-face nowadays. Joonas' form is a cause for concern so far and Jon Cook highlighted this in the programme tonight. It's sad to see actually, as he's a real talent on a speedway bike when he's on form. Hat's off to our match winner tonight.........Tomi the Czech....who was awesome. Another encouraging evening for Jonas bodes well with Andreas due back next week and a return to form for JK will see The Hammers an extremely powerful septet, capable of winning anywhere!!
