Davey Watt as a guest again? Surely Lakeside can find a more suitable replacement for Jonsson?

On his low average? Who would you suggest?

Watt will do a job for the Hammers and with no bonus point in play, all you need is a win and Lakeside should have enough for a comfortable win.

Yes, a bad one, just like he did tonight. No, what you really mean is, like he did for Oxford in 2006 - let's have some intellectual honesty, young fellow. We all know you view everything through an Oxford prism.

As others have said, on an average of 8.35 it's impossible to find a rider to equal the genius of AJ, so really Davey is probably the best call.........he rides Lakeside very well, did us proud on a couple of occasions last year and I've every confidence in him tomorrow.........I can see another maximum looming for Mr Clean though.

Mr Watt cost us a home win against BV last season as well when guesting for us.
Refused to go out in Ht15 cos the track was a bit wet!!

He's temperamental to say the least. If the track's not exactly to his liking, or the wind is blowing the wrong way, or Jupiter is in conjunction with Saturn, or whatever, then Watt's not interested. As you know, I tend to staunchly defend most riders who have ridden for Oxford, with just a very exceptions. And Watt is one of them.

Wish I'd been there tonight to see Leigh Adams getting 6 points from a T/S alone. Looks like Davidsson is mastering the Lakeside track, and what were you saying about the guest, genghis?

And the final score was a win for the Hammers, but not by much (50-45). Swindon really made good use of their tactical options, after going 25-11 behind after Ht 6 - a 4 point T/R ride for Korneliussen in Ht 7 and a 6 point T/S ride for Adams in Ht 8 saw the Robins back into the meeting. Adams was agains superb for the Robins and he was backed up solidly by Korneliussen and Batchelor. But Wright failed to score from 4 outings and McGowan only scored a couple of points from his 4. McGowan is really letting the Robins down time after time. For Lakeside, everyone was among the points to a certain extent, but they'll have expected more than 5+2 from Kylmakorpi.

Kylmakorpi actually looked on the pace last night for the first time ths season, if I'm honest. He would have had a bigger points haul had it not been for an engine failure in his first ride.
