Lakeside:

Peterborough:

Despite the weather, this meeting is on, although the junior event due to take place before the meeting will not now happen. Another demolition for the Panthers, or will pride be restored?

And a second thrashing for Peterborough in successive nights as Lakeside win (58:35). So, not quite as bad as last night, but not far off it. And Lakeside had a fair few fallers that cost points on the night. But Andreas Jonsson wasn't among the fallers - he sauntered to a 15 point maximum. And he got good support from the rest of the Hammers. An interesting night for Adam Shields, with a couple of tumbles and a couple of wins in his four outings. For the Panthers it was fairly bleak, with no one really showing to any effect - even Hans Andersen had a comparitively poor night, scoring just 10 points from his five rides. Kenneth Bjerre top scored for the Panthers with 12+1 (including a 6 pointer) from five.

And both Belle Vue and Peterborough using, and making the most of, the tactical ride.
It does sound like the track was fairly wet, but they all had to ride in the same conditions. I'm just pleased to see Jonas Davidsson seems to have managed his dislike for the Arena Essex Raceway. Special mention has to go to young Tomicek for beating Kenneth Bjerre.
