Accoring to this week's Star there will be a bit of a bonus atTelford this year.A bit of a scream as well by all accounts. The riders will be attempting, under the guidance of a resident tutor, to give the audience Speedway's version of `Dancing on Ice' ;D ;D I'm conjuring up a few mental pictures already ;D

Congratulations to Martin Smolinski for winning the 20th British Ice Open Championship, and lets hope that both Craig Branney and David Howe make swift recoveries from their injuries sustained this afternoon.

Poor David Howe's only just recovering from the last injury. Echo those sentiments.

3 Edward Kennett (Poole) 11 It looks like Eastbourne have released him in order to bring in an adequate reserve then.

I'm reliably informed that Craig Branney has broken a tibia, fibula and thumb, and David Howe has two severe lacerations to his foot requiring many stitches. Once again, complete and speedy recoveries to both of them!!!

Once again, complete and speedy recoveries to both of them!!! Very nasty - not nice to see 4 riders injured before the proper British season - it's their living at the end and after serious investment in the winter no doubt, they are left pocketless. Hope they get well soon!
