Malcolm McClaren, at least Johny Rotten had the bollocks to go in the jungle, looks like old Malcy has scammed a freebie to Oz curtesy of ITV.

Why fly 26 hours only to decide you ain't got the time and then fly back again.....the bloke is a tosser. At risk of sounding like a stuck record I nominate Rob B for constantly editing my posts on the Aces forum. I started a thread for signings in 2008. A bloke who used to work for Belle Vue confirmed that Screen and Forsberg are in for 2008. I edit the post to include them and he removes them because 'although it's probably true, this guy doesn't work for Belle Vue anymore and it's not been confirmed'. How fucking childish.

I'm sorry to keep bringing FOTW back to the same thing but I really have to nominate bazaar3 and to a lesser extent Shazzybird again. Their constant defence of Middlo without a leg to stand on as a reason is becoming farcical now. If they could give a valid reason for Middlo to remain I'd listen to them but they have not come up with one reason except that Middlo is a good friend and a nice bloke. They have found loads of defence but no pros as yet. Anyone that constantly argues for the sake of it without putting forward a decent argument deserves FOTW. I'll even go for value for money and include Middlo in the nomination. To state that practise except on the track used for the final is a waste of time, shows he's got a closed mind and won't listen to new ideas IMHO. It worked for the Danes

It worked for the Danes Famously, of course, in 2005 Middlo allowed the former British champion to miss practice for the SWC Final at Wroclaw, on the curious grounds that he'd ridden there in a Polish league meeting some weeks earlier. Needless to say, Jaroslaw Hampel, then a rider with Wroclaw, wasn't allowed to miss practice for the final by the Polish coach at the time.

Subedei James Brundle...number 1 and captain... bj No, I'm sure that unlike Middlo, Star Lady wouldn't play favourites.

Subedei James Brundle...number 1 and captain... bj Not sure why you say that. I've stuck up for James on several occasions, over the way of his sacking, equally I've "had a go" at him at times. If you want proof ask Jive, he'll never forget one occasion. ;D James basically is a journeyman type of rider, not one who will ever get into the national team. I mean no disrespect by saying that, it's just the way it is. The sport is made up of 75% of journeyman type riders, who do a good job at the level they are at but would struggle at a higher level. The sport could not exist without them. Basically it seems to me that the Middlo supporters want him to stay cos he's a good guy and GB have not enough good riders, and they think he's doing OK. I think there should be a change because he may well be a nice guy, but nice guys don't necessarily win things. We may well not have enough good riders BUT we will never know how quickly we can bring on others unless they are given the chance. If Middlo is not prepared to try new things and from his own posts he doesn't seem inclined I say let someone new have a go and try something new. GB can't lose anything and who knows a new broom my just spring a surprise.

Does not really bother me either way if he is manager or not....
I do believe we need a win at all costs attitude situation now...We have seen the Poles and the Danes have a similar mind set ...so why not......if you cant beat them join them...big engines or no big engines :-)

Hey? What? James Brundle? That night brought a new meaning to programme sellers lol Don't bring me into the middlo debate, it's all a load of cobblers, leave him alone i'd hate to be persucuted from my job by a lynch mob like he is.

Have to agree Jive, that thread on BSF really doesn't do anyone any favours.
Playground taunting springs to mind whenever I'm bored enough to read it.

It's my very most favourite thread at the minute. But I guess that says more about me than about the thread.

Agree with Sube though, very entertaining.

are normal flapperjacks behaving themselves this week? Given the brass monkey nightime temperatures at present I reckon they are protecting their balls and hibernating
