But, in all seriousness, the programme for the Glasgow meeting I attended at the Messiahdome did state: "Contact paulco in the bar before and after the meeting if you wish to purchase any [tickets for the Heathen end of season shindig]."

Talk about idiots running the asylum. ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) I'm so bloody frustrated about all of this I'm thinking of booking myself in soon. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
Another nomination from me, the whole of the fucking BSPA for making this once wonderful sport the sham that it is today. ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) I'd second that if I wasn't waiting to make my own nomination - which is likely to be about 11pm tomorrow! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

At Sunday's double header the bar ran out of beer - and i voiced my displeasure at this dramatic development on the Glasgow forum . Some divvy then came on and said if i wanted to drink i should just go to the pub instead . Cheeky Bastard .

Yes, I've just been reading it: users.boardnation.com/~easy_tiger/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=4918;start=0Still, a lot of support for you, which isn't very surprising. I trust that the bar didn't run out of Coca-Cola?

It's actually quite bitchy on Easy-Tiger on the whole tonight . Season fizzling in disappointment to blame no doubt .

Do you know something I don't? We all know something that Bratley apparently doesn't. And that's that he's a flapperjack. Actually he does and he gave me the address of this web site to check it out, he's been an avid reader of this board for a long time and is made up with his award. I think he would like you to present it to him personally.

Well, since there now appears to be a 50-50 chance of Peterborough being in the Premier League next season, if he seeks me out in the cruel, crazy town, I'll see what I can manage.

The whole Premier situation has generated pages and pages of publicity, large chunks of radio time and 8 mins on BBC Look East TV last night. I think Mick Bratley knows perfectly well what he is doing he is very media savvy, best mates with a Talksport presenter who has schooled him well and he is no fool on the internet. You should google Mick Bratley sometime. You would be foolish to treat him lightly, he is fair but will fight his corner and fight it well.

Hasn't exactly covered himself in glory as regards his comments about young Schumi in the Peterborough forum . xxalicexx came out with more intelligent quotes than Lord Flapperjack's apprentice .

I have to say that from my experience with Mick at Ipswich he was always very straight and reasonable over anything to do with Hans - and certainly he is very good with interviews etc. I wonder if some of the problem with his dealings at the Showground is that there is a party line he has to toe? He's certainly said some stuff online that I would suggest might have been better left unsaid though. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Sometimes "less is more" - but regardless of that I have a strong feeling that Promoters - regardless of WHICH promoters - shouldn't get too involved in fans forums etc.

So, do I understand correctly that the PL story was just something to get media interest?

I think so far as Schumi's postings on the Panthers forum are concernd Mick has let personal emotion get in the way of fair and just moderation of the forum. Another reason why I have my doubts about the wisdom of Promoters getting involved with posting on forums!

Another reason why I have my doubts about the wisdom of Promoters getting involved with posting on forums! There was no moderation. I deleted my own account and had nothing altered or deleted from my posts during my membership. I'm not suggesting otherwise either Schumi. My point is that he's made comments which should simply not have been made by a moderator. When you take on the role of administrator on a forum - official or otherwise - you simply have to take on board the fact that sometimes you have to bite your tongue and say nothing. This board is slightly diufferent on that front in that its purpose is to allow ALL members freedom to say what they feel.
