Were you there genghis - how weird was he? Edit: There seemed to be a bit of a discussion on speedwayupdates about whether the Weirdity had assisted Complin in falling in Ht 9. I texted paulco to ask about this. The reply: I dunno I'm pissed Sub, I suppose he was fairly weird in the fact he did bog all in his first two rides, then went out and beat Lyons in his third. I do think maybe he should have been excluded from Heat 9 though - I wasn't really at the right angle, but it did look to me like there was contact. He got better as the meeting progressed, or rather his gating did, as nearly every race was from the gate. Having said that, he did overhaul Nermark for third place early in the final. I think I would have been thoroughly frustrated as a Berwick fan to see him riding like that for himself. Nice to meet Paulco - he didn't seem too pissed when I spoke to him, but that was before the meeting started

The weather forecast for tomorrow is terrible and likely to turn the match into a lottery. In such circumstances, it's far better to be six points up than six points down. I expect an unlikely hero from either side to be the match-winner tomorrow.

Yep still all to race for. We went upto P'boro last season with 6 riders having lost Zagar for both final legs, ended up with 5 fit riders on the night and if it hadn't been for those TR and Lynch being a flapperjack we'd have snuck it

I assume this is Charlie Gjedde, who seems to have been in the wars in Gorzow today?

Looking on the bright side, Desperate Damian top-scored for Leszno today - should make a change for the Brandon faithful to see Janniro and Johnston up against someone they can't push around in Ht 2. Janniro tries to muscle Balinski on the 1st turn and he'll end up among the Fairies.

Johnno at 4 tomorrow Sub, Smolinski at reserve.
with his penchant for giving opposition riders a good shove, ht2 could be very interesting!

Johnno at 4 tomorrow Sub, Smolinski at reserve. How does that work? I thought the averages didn't change after the cut-off date?
