Mick's been posting asking people to substantiate their claims about riders not being paid. The third time of happening, SB posted he sounds like a stuck record. I think it's in the Hefenbrock thread about 3 pages from the end.

To be fair to Mick Bratley, I was involved in a sensible discussion with him later in the same thread. I actually now feel some sympathy for the guy - I think he's just trying to do the best for his club.

I'm sorry, but Silver Bee has redeemed himself somewhat with his post to Mick. Disagree, in the same hour(s), his attempted to still argue about the Howe/Moore incident from his view back home sitting on a computer watching it over and over again. David had one chance to think in a short space of time. He believes that despite never riding a Speedway bike - he has the quick thinking brain of Britain current' no.2.

Well, there was a bit of competition in the end but I think following on from that puke enducing statement "from the heart" there can really on be one winner this week. Step forward Horton you are Flapperjack of the Week. With CH being on holiday I'm sure it would be quite fitting for Mick Bratley to accept the award on his behalf if needed.

So it's D-Day for young Wacks. A final reminder, Wacks, why there should only be one winner this week: Still raises the bile in my throat reading that. Wacks, also a personal plea. I'm now (and Oxford fans are probably the same, although I can't speak on their behalf) want closure on the whole Horton period at Cowley - it's best forgotten about, as we move on to an exciting new era under Allen Trump. I've even offered a bit of friendly advice to Mick Bratley on the BSF - that the sooner he stays away from the situation the sooner it will die down. And the selection of Horton for this week's award would help with that process - it would mean I wouldn't have to nominate him again in future weeks after his name would already be on the Roll Of Honour. And if that plea doesn't cut the mustard, then one final threat - if you don't pick Lord Flapperjack, then I'll come along to Smallmead on Monday night with a tin of red paint and you don't want to know what I'm going to write on your car (although I may use a recent episode of Top Gear for inspiration!) ;D ;D ;D

And while I'm preparing my final email, Wacks does the right thing and picks Lord Flapperjack. Cheers mate.

Okay, so finally the Horton claims a flapperjack of the week award. My thanks to wacks for deciding matters a week earlier than expected.
