To be fair, Travel Plus Tours are ideal for lazy bastards such as myself, who want to go on holiday without any hassle of having to sort anything out. Hi Rob, There really isn't that much hassle sorting out a couple of flights and a hotel is there. Are you really that lazy ? Next time drop me an e-mail, your credit card details and I'll do it for a tenner for you ;D Rico

My non-speedway related nomination for flapperjack of the week is the people that didnt tell me all the free wine I was consuming, which, being free, I assumed to be about 5-7% volume, was actually 15% volume.. They mentioned this the morning after. Thereby leaving me too hungover to attend Mildenhall v IoW. *twitch* While I'm at it, actually, a BSF related one.. PhilK & others from the Boston v Oxford! I spent bloody ages typing up the main heat info/scores from what I'd had in my programme when I was so tired I should have been in bed, just so all those wanting to know what happened would have the info.. and the only comment is 'the comments on heat 10 & 12 didnt really do justice'. I feel sorry for the updaters if thats the type of gratitute they get, I dont think I'll bother in future. Though I suppose its my fault for expecting a single 'thank you'. Ah well.. Moving on. ;D

That's why I've been on TP Tours in the past and probably will do so again in the future. Having said that, if someone on here wants to organise their own trip for a minibus of people, charge half the price of TP Tours, then I'd willing go along with them. And next year, I am thinking of actually organising a trip to Assen for a group of Oxford bods. I was a regular at Assen between 1998 and 2003, and I want to go back, and I'd much rather go to Centre Parcs (where we used to go), rather than stay in a hotel. Each to their own, and TP Tours does provide a service to the people who want to use it. All the best Rob

Yes Lupus,Wolfcry is the one club forum i do or did like.Since Christian left i don't look in any more though.I mean i like PK and Freddie but not that much .As i was saying to Schumi,i tend to follow riders i have seen and like.So of all the hundreds of threads on the BSF or even here i will generally only look at ones where a particular rider is riding.Unless something takes my interest or someone tells me something is going on And i agree with Rob.Was nice to meet Kev,Jo and Brian Collins. All nice people.Plus on the TP Tour was the ex-promoter of Shelbourne Park speedway. And it's not every day you get to meet an Irish speedway promoter

Hortonfan, alias... well, you work it out.
A spineless, nasty little muppet. Banter between Oxford and Swindon fans is mostly good natured (witness Grachan, someone who views I respect), but Hortonfan really is a tosspot.
All the best Rob

Two nominations for me.
Neil Middleditch for giving Kennett 4 rides tonight, could quite possibly have cost Poole an away win at P'boro.
and Richard Hall, for well just generally being a flapperjack. Shame this forum wasn't around last October, I'd have put together a bigger campaign for Hall than Genghis did for Paul Carrington. ;D
