Keegan returns as Newcastle boss Newcastle confirm Kevin Keegan will make a dramatic return to manage the club. This should improve the standard of play at the Toon.

Good grief - the man who was even worse as England manager than Steve McClaren, and managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory last time he was at Newcastle. I assume Sub has either got his head in the oven, or is starting the "Bring Back Big Sam" campaign.

I don't think this is much of a solution, to be honest. Keegan will walk away when the going get tough, that's his style. He walked from St James', he walked from England and he walked from Manchester City. The truth of the matter is, he's not a very good manager and once his luck runs out, he's more or less fucked. I doubt if he'll last more than a couple of years, if that. I'd much prefer to have seen a Deschamps installed as manager.

Anyway, it doesn't get any better for the Toon as Blackburn beat them this afternoon - Keegan's feet must be getting itchy and ready for a walk.

By creating the world's most tacky super stores in the country. Sadly the public's support for them say a lot about how poor some families are rather than the quality his shops possess. He ruined Lilywhites for god's sake! Also cleverly buying into Umbro on it's last knees as Nike were eyeing it up for the prize of the England National Team shirt. He's just sold his shares onto Nike. He did a deal with Umbro which include him pumping some money into them to upkeep the day to day running as long as he could knock out England kits at half the price of his rivals.

He was just lucky - he floated his company on the stock exchange, making him a billionaire and the company's value collapsed a few weeks later.

When Keegan said he was going to bring flowing football and plenty of goals he ought to have told the chairman he meant for the opposition

He ruined Lilywhites for god's sake! Back in the late-19th century, a Lilywhite's No.5 was chosen as the de-facto size and weight for all footballs made ever since. Now it's just a tacky not-so-discounted sports store.

Now it's just a tacky not-so-discounted sports store. When we used to visit Nottingham when I was younger I used to enjoy my trips to Lilywhite's even as early as ten years agao. They only had stores in some cities which spoke of it's prestige, the history was evident as was the quality of the sporting goods. I visited to 2 years later to find it a temple to Donnay, Dunlop and other suffering sports brands.

Well another humping for the not so mighty Toon, how much more can Keegan take before he walks or how much more can the fans take?

Looks like Keegan may yet take Newcastle down. The question is whether Sunderland, Bolton and Birmingham are worse?
