Time for Sam Allardyce to be shown the door at St James' Park, before he completely destroys Newcastle United.

Anyway, not a good day for the ever-lovely schumi, who put all her sportdaq bucks in Christiano Renaldo hoping to get a win bonus.

The thing about Newcastle fans is they expect too much........you can't expect to turn a relatively pants team into a good one within 3/4 months.
Granted they have had a poor start and however much it pains me to say it, i think he will turn it around. Your supporters are the type that can drive him away, the way you are going, and if you do im sure yo will regret it. Get behind him whilst he is still there.

How on earth can you expect any manager to do much in just a few months?

How on earth can you expect any manager to do much in just a few months? Exactly. Man Utd showed a little patience with Alex Ferguson and looked what happened.

Yes , but when Sir Purpleface was under pressure at least the Mancs were still trying to play football and the famed youth system was up and running . Allardyce's brand of football might have been acceptable at somewhere like Bolton , but not at Newcastle . There you have 52,000 people brought up on how the game should be played and crave success . Allardyce , like Souness before him , was clearly the wrong appointment to begin with . So why the Newcastle board couldn't see that baffles me .

Good news on two fronts. First of all, Allardyce was never the right man for Newcastle and shouldn't have been appointed in the first place - Newcastle fans can stomach not winning things, we've had plenty of experience of not winning things, but the style of play has to be reasonable. And secondly, suspecting the writing was on the wall for Allardyce, I bought into him on sportdaq last weekend and his share price has just been rising and rising.

Aye , but are you aware that Newcastle's temporary manager this weekend is somebody called ..... Nigel Pearson . ;D

Allardyce is always going to be a manager for a certain type of club, which is why linking him to England was so hilarious. Even so, I still can't see how anyone can be expected to effect serious change at a club in just a half-a-season.
