Not good enough - simple as that . Players getting paid about 10 grand a week and cant take a corner or a free kick without hitting a defender . When Darcheville missed that sitter with 10 mins to go - i knew then the game was up . So it's down to the Diddy Cup for us now Sorry Ssamyarse - i had to go to work after the match and i never noticed your text till about 2 in the morning .

That was Gerrard v Croatia and he'll be on 10 times that 'Rangers charged straight up the park and Barry Ferguson slid the ball into the six yard box, only for Darcheville to somehow divert it on to the crossbar and over with his shin' That was the chance. That goes in and they're in the next stages IMO. All he had to do was fall on it - if you offered money to do that again he'd struggle

But sadly our chum paulco is likely to be a little bit miserable, since the Hun lost to Lyon and have been consigned to UEFA cup obscurity. Must admit when i saw the result this morning it did make going to work at 5am in the cold a bit more bearable ;D

Unlucky Tims , but i suspect Barca were toying with you . Had to laugh yesterday at the back page of the Daily Record . Headline read - They might have Ronaldinho , but we have .......( wait for it ) ... Aidinho . ;D ;D ;D . The Plastic Paddy might be an above average player , but gie's a break - papers getting a tad carried away there .

You don't see the quality of Barca's goals in the SPL every week do ya? No but you do in the Scottish First Division Seriously I have seen many a wonder strike this season from Graham Dorrans who is heading to West Brom in the Summer. Erm back to the Champions League............. Unlucky Celtic, but they will still go through. winning 2-0 in Spain. Think about it, EVERY goal Barca scored on Wednesday came from a Celtic mistake...............That wont happen again. ....and with Aidenio on the left whippin in balls for Macdonald and JVH it can easily be done. Have faith. The best team in Scotland will not let the Country down.

Credit where credit's due. Rangers produced a result many (including me) thought was beyond them last night. To win through in Greece (albeit on the away goals rule) is no mean feat.
They may have benifitted from the Greek side's failure to cash in on the wonder goal scored early on but, as the second half progressed, you could see the equaliser coming.
Rangers seem to have learned the lesson that Celtic have yet to learn. To compete to a high level in Europe you have to be able to defend, not just away, but at home too. A creaky defence is always going to be hard to carry.

As for Celtic's defending - two words ......Gary Caldwell ;D ;D . We really should have smileys with people falling down wetting themselves for describing Celtic defenders .

Let's not forget who has been competing at a high European level lately Ok the Huns have a reputation for grinding out results and getting late goals in Scotland. And we have a reputation for being a bit carefree with the defensive side of the game.Blimey i was at the Partizan game when we got knocked out even though we scored 5 goals at Parkhead.Only Celtic can score 5 and let in 4
