Unfortunately Celtic kept up their run away in CL and lost to Benfica, not to bad as a spectacle but thought 1-0 was probably the right result.

Hee Hee Well done Liverpool made my night, Besiktas should have had 4 easily Can hardly believe the comments of Gerrard and Benitez to the effect that Liverpool controlled the game and deserved to win. Liverpool were woeful and Besiktas thoroughly deserved to win, in fact, 2-1 flattered Liverpool. That explains a lot they must have been watching a different game to us!! I've never seen the scousers carved open so much, the counter attacking from Besiktas was brilliant to watch, I agree totally 2-1? Easily should have been 4-1 ;D ;D ;D

I quite enjoyed both the Scottish teams efforts in the CL this week. Celtic had some good counter-attacking opportunities last night that they threatened to snatch a goal from, but as you say it was probably the right result given some of Boruc's saves and the number of efforts the home side hit the woodwork with. I'm sure Celtic will win the return match, which all being well will put them in with a good chance of qualification if Milan manage to win in Donetsk (no way guaranteed). Rico

Boruc was quite incredible last night - Shame the same can't be said of his conrad's in Leicester where my 5-a-side team just whipped a team of Poles 9-4 and I scored my first goal in 600 odd minutes.
Nearly asked them to swap shirts for a Polish one.

Well its that time again, Celtic in the CL, which team will turn up, if the goes to form they should win but they way they have been playing recently its a tough one to call. A win is essential if they want to progress so hopefully they can do it

Well this time round I think Celtic deserved the win, there was a couple of squeaky arse moments but the result was the main thing last night. Mcgeady was on good form and Scott Brown was awesome in patches. ;D Unfortunately he was taken out near the end by Augustin Binya who was rightly shown the red card and should receive an additional ban when UEFA view the incident, the tackle was shocking and could easily have broken his leg.

I'm afraid we're getting the expected humping . 2-0 for Barcelona at half - time . Although we have been over the half way line a couple of times .

Well Barcelona 2 - 0 Rangers . Completely and utterly outplayed . It's a whole different kettle of fish this Champions League malarkey .

From what I saw of the match, which wasn't much - about the final twenty minutes of the second half - it looked like Barcelona had several gears in hand.

Ah well . A 3-2 defeat in Stuttgart tonight No big deal though as if we avoid defeat against Lyon in a fortnight at Ibrox we will be through ;D Meanwhile tomorrow evening at Legoland it's win or bust for Jimmy Krankie's mob

Well as suprising as it may sound a 3 goal win against the Ukrainians will see both Celtic and AC Milan qualify if Benfica fail to beat the Holders ;D
COME ON CELTIC

Oh dear. Jimmy Krankie's mob, as young paulco refers to the Bhoys, a goal down already.
