Well, according to the BSF, Berwick have signed Manuel Hauzinger.

He was quite simply a sensation at Brum last season. I couldn't believe he was the same bloke slagged off by the Geordies.
He's a midget as well.

Newcastle did have problems with Hauzinger, mainly to do with his continental commitments, which meant he was often on a "wing and a prayer" when it came to actually making it to Newcastle for meetings. Certainly, it was a mad dash from an airport when Newcastle were at Berwick on one occasion.

He's one of these frustrating riders who can get you double figures one week and score 2 the next . But at least he has a Berwick pedigree - he's absolute shite at the " Stadium of Mince " . ;D On the down side , Berwick being a Saturday night track could run into problems with his extensive Continental bookings .

Jungle drums on the BSF suggest Henning Bager has signed.

Jungle drums on the BSF suggest Henning Bager has signed. It's on the BBC, so it must be true: news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/motorbikes/speedway/7315095.stmBut it is a little bit silly, as well, since Berwick should now have a team average of knocking on 45 points. Those reductions from Aarnio and Magosi have really made the Bandits look strong. It's a little unfair on the rest.

After watching him at Brum last season, he can be a bit hit and miss as a heatleader. I know some Brum fans didn't like his 'oh well' person. He has a 'if goes, go, if doesn't don't bother attitude'.
Waite was moaning about all these riders and now he's got through 2 in 2 weeks.

Any truth in the rumour that Bager's contract is only for 28 days , by which time his Polish commitments will have started .
