I've seen this week's visitors to the cruel, crazy town a couple of times this season: early on in the season they looked impressive as they won at Shielfield Park in the PT, but on Saturday they were poor as the Barbarian's spanked them at Derwent Park. I fully expect the Bandits to spank them on Saturday, especially if Stanislaw Burza has recovered from his knock and is in the line-up. When Redcar came calling for the PT, the Bandits were in disarray, but with the inclusion of Truminski and the scoring prowess of David Meldrum (around Shielfield, at any rate) at reserve the Bandits should prove just too strong for the Bears. There should, however, be some interesting on track action, as Tresarrieu and Kerr always seem to be good value at Berwick. I haven't checked the new GSAs, so I don't know the exact configuration of the Berwick side - will it still be Truminski and the Weird Wonder (who defeated Krzysztof Kasprzak, Jaroslaw Hampel and Damian Balinski Snr in Poland on Sunday) at 1 and 3, or has Burza, or indeed Makovsky, done enough to send Rempala back among the second strings?

Well, Truminski remains on his assessed 8.00 average, so it's just a question of who takes the No 3 race jacket. And although those figures include bonus points in the average, it looks like the Weird Wonder will indeed be No 3, so I'd expect an unchanged Berwick line-up, assuming Burza returns, of:
1..S Truminski 2..A Bergstrom 3..J Rempala 4..S Burza 5..M Makovsky 6..S Martin 7..D Meldrum

Yes, but we really need shadders to do it. No one else quite knows how to press the right buttons to get Mr Self-Righteous and his minnions blowing a gasket as well as Mr Bandits4Eva.
Edit:
Although, if he braves the cruel, crazy town on saturday night, he might not have any gaskets left to blow.

Is our fearless old mongol warlord making the short trip to the cruel, crazy, town tonight to see the Bandits duel with Smoggy Bears for PL points?
