Daphne's good at everything, she's the stealth Egghead. daphne??? Daphne Fowler; looks like everyone's favourite aunt, but underneath that butter-wouldn't-melt exterior, lurks a winner of almost every major quiz show in the last 20 odd years. She's the perfect telly quiz contestant; everyone loves her, she's the archetypal underdog, but she's got all kinds of shit filed and ready to go up top. She's made a living out of winning quizzes and competitions since I was a teenager.

Daphne's good at everything, she's the stealth Egghead. You do have a point there. CJ is the weak link, he is also crap at sport. What is the name of your team?

Ask for her to be drug tested Donsking, there's something about her that's not quite right.
Good luck to you all though, and yeah I'm another who hope you wipe that smug look of that Flapperjack CJ's face.

I think you'll find that CJ is a pretty good allrounder, although Norbold has been doing the most stat spotting, so he would know better than me. And say three cheers for the Speedway Websliders, for we are they!

So, we went, we saw and we..................................well, you'll have to wait for the outcome!
Interesting day, a fair bit of faffing around and shuffling about in the bowels of the concrete doughnut, the filming took something like 75 minutes and, annoyingly, having rushed out to buy shirts that conformed to their exacting instructions, nearly all the Eggheads and Dermot were wearing stuff that broke the rules!!!
Anyhoo, everyone was terribly nice and not as you would expect; far from being the dour, studious type you think he's going to be, Kevin Ashman is a seriously nice guy and made a point of spending a fair bit of time chatting to us at the end.
CJ was actually a bit of a laugh and not the annoying git you think he might be, and Chris, who I thought would be the loudest and possibly the dullest, hardly said two words outside of answering the questions.
So, a grand day out, a good laugh and you can watch the highs and lows in about three months time.

Rob
You can probably work it out, but I haven't got a calender to hand; today they broadcast the second of twenty one shows they had left from the last series, and then they go straight into the series we were filming and ours was programme twenty seven.

Will these brainboxes stop at nothing to gain a psychological edge So, a grand day out, a good laugh and you can watch the highs and lows in about three months time. Glad you had a good day out and hope to catch up with some (all) of you at some point this season

Ask for her to be drug tested Donsking, there's something about her that's not quite right. Well, she did grin like a chimpanzee almost continuously, so she's either very nice indeed or high on something! ;D Why all the fuss about CJ? He was nice as pie, not remotely arrogant, and friendly to us at all times.

He does come across as an arrogant flapperjack, so did his fat mate who reckoned he would win the £250.000 on the Beeb. But it's nice to know it's only his television persona Edit, why no flapperjack

But it's nice to know it's only his television persona Edit, why no flapperjack That's telly for you, contrived, spun more times than 'Rock Around The Clock' and all done to get the ratings. Anyway, I can't really knock anyone; they make ratings grabbing telly, and, if truth be told, we all got suckered into doing it as well! The only thing I will say is this; the result was for real. Nobody was given any extra chances, and no-one got offered another question as an alternative. We recorded far more than 28 minutes of programme, but the edit wont hide anything, other than some boring bits that nobody would want to watch.
