There is much speculation on the BSF that Kings Lynn will be moving up into the Elite League!!
Earlier in the year Jonathan Chapman hinted strongly that this may be the case, during the EL Pairs Championship.
If it does happen, could this be a way to tempt the World Champion into signing an EL contract? He does, I believe, say Kings Lynn is his favourite track anywhere!!

For the last few years the Chapman's have said they wished to remain PL . However getting Crump on board might be to good an opportunity to pass up . To be honest Kings Lynn have always been regarded as a top flight club who were just having a wee break in the 2nd tier . Always enjoyed going there in the early nineties , when Henka was in his pomp - the racing was fantastic .

I can see King's Lynn in the Elite League, but I can't see the Chapmans coughing over the kind of readies that Nicki P seems to be looking for. I think King's Lynn's elevation would depend on the points limit being low enough for them not to be in the market for a whole new team if they go Elite League.

Lovely we might get those local derbies back again, it just isn't the same with Peatboghorror or Lakeside somehow.

Yes (might still have a club left at the end of 2008 which certainly wouldnt have been as likely had they gone up)

And they can win the PL in 2008 and still not have to go up Maybe that's what they were practising for against Sheffield
