Quote from Steve Hone on the PL prediction thread, didnt want to hijack the topic so responded here
"Kings Lynn recently have seen some iffy away form from Paul Lee, and with the recent pairing changes i think it's going to knock him back further.
being paired with Nermark there are two riders that fight for the same part of the track too often.
Brundle has been gating well which is helping him to gather points, but he still seems slow.
the pairing change IMO has left Harding too exposed and i think that will be the killer."
Accept Steve has seen Lynn more than me this season and certainly knows the riders personally but from the stands (OK no mans land) I am happy with the pairings at home at least. Obviously both have had injuries over the last couple of weeks and we havent seen much speedway but here is my thinking.
Trev has looked more and more like a third heat leader over the season, regularly gating well (apart from his dip with mechanical problems) and rides well with James when the opportunity arises, no real benefit when riding with Dan.
Paul on the other hand very rarely gates and often gets tangled up with the faster starting Brundle and even when James is looking for Paul the pairing hasnt always worked. Strangely although you would think Dan and Paul would be looking for the same bit of track, at home Dan is likely to be so far ahead of Paul coming out of the second bend it shouldnt really matter, also Dan is more than able to ride the inside if they are in a position where they have to team ride
