Me and my mum and daughter all signed something at King's Lynn a few weeks back about Cradley Speedway.

The WWoS will go from strength to strength and one day it will rule the speedway world.

A little old Mongol warrior against the Orange Dictator? No contest. With the sacred spirits and Holy Genghis (and no, I don't mean Peasley) to guide me, schumi at my side and my faithful troops (that's you, the great membership here at the WWoS), I can't fail.

Well well well...it goes from strength to strength this WWoS of yours Sub ...yet another mention by Lakeside's Ruth the Cybersleuth. In the recent programme for the Reading meeting on 3rd August it says .....
"The past couple of weeks has seen somewhat of a rebellion on the British Speedway Forum, and the unrest has caused a few regular members to ‘defect’ to the recently formed ‘Weird World of Subedei” forum and it’s more liberal, if any, censorship. With the values of freedom of speech being foremost in the minds of the moderators of the WWOS forum, some of those who have now switched over to spend more of their discussion time on there have vowed never to return to the BSF….or so they claim! Some have, however, actually cancelled their accounts on the BSF in protest. What, you may be asking, caused all this ill feeling? Well it all seemed to start building up a few weeks ago when some fans started questioning a certain promoters intentions and financial stability having just gone through a rough time and finally ‘pulling the plug’ on one of his clubs. Rightly or wrongly, and it is not the intention of the author or this article to take sides in any way, some accusations and rumours started to be posted that could be classed as a bit close to the edge. The promoter in question is supposed to have, shall we say, taken more than a little offence at what was being said ( dummies flying everywhere from all sides apparently ! ) and the BSF site moderators, fearing possible legal action, rapidly ‘cleaned up’ the thread and increased their vigilance on censorship from then on. This, along with other recent issues over moderated posts on other threads, and the claim of favouritism to what some posters were allowed to say, compared to others, without any moderation or warnings, caused those who were involved to decide that it would be better to be able to voice their true and honest opinions and let off a little steam on a less censored forum. Both forums continue uninterrupted it seems, but a definite ‘them and us’ situation seems to have resulted from this altercation".
How many more mentions will we see in the Hammers programme before the end of the season ?

Depends on how they decide to play it. After the conversation I had with Jon, I know he doesn't set much store with internet forums, Stuart has a slightly different view; I can't see any purpose being served by having a direct connection between this site and the Lakeside program, the thoughts of internet forums represent a very small percentage of the public at large, and the thoughts of this site, with it's members numbering just over a hundred, are insignificant compared to the Lakeside fan forum or the BSF.

DK, my post was actually tongue in cheek, but strange how you say about Jon Cook and the internet. I've heard a very similar story myself today, and it's looks like Cookie won't be winning Flapperjack of the Week this week. Someone, somewhere is going to get their arse kicked from pillar to post though.
