I've quite often bumped into people who say "are you Rob Peasley, I'm on the BSF".
However, last night after signing a petition for Cradley at Plymouth after Oxford's return from dead, the guy with the petition looked at name I had signed and introduced himself as being on WWoS.
This forum is taking off... Sub & Schumi, you may have created a monster.
Incidentally, I think Sir Lunchalot is on here somewhere (many people's favourite mod on the BSF... I also get on Steve Turner, but realise this may not be shared by some!!).
All the best Rob

The Weird World has also managed a mention in the Lakeside programme:
"Those of you who use our own excellent fans forum may like to know of news that our old mate Subedei seems to have been up to his outspoken tricks again. It would appear that he has upset the moderators and webmasters on a few fans forums and has been ‘struck off’ them so to speak. What will he do now, you may ask! Too late, he’s already cured the problem. He has started up his very own speedway fans forum called, rather aptly, The Weird World of Subedei, where freedom of speech is of paramount importance. In his welcome to my world introduction thread he explains “I can’t possibly be banned from here, right? Yes, after sailing close to the wind on a few occasions at various speedway related forums, I’ve finally gone too far on one or two ( A bit miffed about the Berwick one to be honest, but the Ipswich forum is so dull it’s almost a pleasure to be banned ), so there seemed only one way out. Just one way to guarantee freedom of speech. And that was to set off on my own. So, here it is, my own personal board, where everyone is welcome and where freedom of speech is sacred”. It is well worth a trip on the internet to take a look, but I must warn those of you that are easily offended, that there is very little, if any, censorship and so the posts can be rather ‘colourful’ on occasions, so be prepared. It is however a place where speedway fans actually do speak their minds and so far it has 56 bona fide members discussing many current and contentious speedway issues….but as I say, be warned, it’s not for the faint hearted".
Our thanks to young Nobby at the Lakeside forum for informing us about it.

I also get on Steve Turner, Okay, you've either missed out "'s nerves" or "with" somewhere in there. Guessing it's the latter I, too, have to admit to getting on okay with him. Yes, I've heard rumours about who pops in here to see what we're up to, and if half of what I've heard is true I'm mightily impressed. It was only a few months ago that this forum consisted of a handful of threads, but, thanks to everyone's input, we've collectively made it quietly successful, and I hope we can continue going from strength to strength. Funny though Rob. I didn’t realise you signed forms "Genghis." ;D

It's a bit ugly when I post when drunk... such as an imfamous occassion on the BSF in April 2006 ;D All the best Rob

Not about this forum, but i was recognised a few years back now.Coming out of the train station on my way to a meeting at Güstrow i saw a guy with a Belle Vue t-shirt on.Thinking i might have some english speaking(of sorts)company i went over, but straight away found out he was a german speedway fan.Well travelled at that,as he had been to Workington.Somewhere i have never been and probably never will.Anyway, got chatting .He needed directions to the track,so i said "follow me".A decision i think he regretted as he was a bit lardy and the walk is a good half an hour ;D But on the way the subject of the german speedway forum came up and he asked "Are you Maccattack?".Fame at last

I happen to know that Nobby also got a few private e-mails from Hammers and BSF forum members who wanted to know the link to the WWOS and who wanted to join as members. I have a feeling there may well be more mentions of it on the hammers forum as well if that is the case. Don't tell anyone though !!

Just a pity about the name of the forum really. In Germany we have a couple of different chains of shops. One is WoM(World of Music) the other happens to be WoS(World of Sex ;D)found on the Reeperbahn. So whenever i see this WWoS i think of the Weird World of Sex
