Workington's new owner has only gone and pulled off the signing of the season so far..... managed to get on a full transfer the one and only Daniel Nermark!!!
Personally I'm seething with rage over this but that's speedway. Waiting to hear now later on at supporters meeting at KL whether he was surplus to requirements at KL (!!!!) or whether KL missed the boat completely.

Stunned by this news as I always thought Dan was happy to stay at KL.
As you say it will be interesting to hear the reasons behind his departure.

Not holding my breath ML, sure we'll get told what they want us to hear and not the full details.

One word SS....M O N E Y! From what I've heard (from a very reliable source! ) CVS offered Danny a pitance to ride in the EL and KL offered not a lot different to ride PL whereas Worky offered him a much more reasonable amount! See my pm for details.....

And the Comics have also bought him outright . Where now for Comic's legend Carl Stonehewer as it doesn't look possible to have Kauko , Nomark and Stoney in their septet .

Cruel, crazy, town OR maybe, just maybe the 'messiahdome' Stoney is known to be no great lover of the track in the cruel , crazy town . But he is a fan of Ashfield . To be honest though watching him last year - it wasn't the Stoney of old and after another nasty injury hmmmmmm . On the other hand - last year before Kenneth Hansen got injured Stoney was all set to join up at " the stadium of mince " . If he is past it , where better to finish of your career trundling round Armadale scoring fives and sixes .

There isnae many riders that like SFP these days im affraid, however you do make a valid point about Stoney ending up at the stade de midden. The Comics are starting to have a solid looking line-up.

Seems Workington are going down the road of a strong heat-leader trio and gambling on the likes of Charles Wright making rapid strides , as tonight it has been confirmed Carl Stonehewer will be a Comet again in 2008 . Seems the PL Fours will also be retuning to Derwent Park . So is that the neutral venue promise from the super 7s organizers forgotten about .

At least you're not the first to fall into the trap of believing what Keith Champman says Paulco. Looks like a bloody awesome team that Denham bloke is assembling up Cumbria way though!!!

Don't believe any promoter Kev - not even my own . ;D And yes it's a strong heat-leader trio , but league winners hmmmmm not so sure . I remember too well 2004 when we had Stancl , Parker , Bentley , Grieves and Jones . We were expected to win the league easily , but we finished 11th . Only takes one injury and they could be in trouble with such inexperience below their heat leaders .

As of Monday evening JC was hoping something would be put out about the Super 7 events in the next couple of weeks as nothing had been officially sorted. Maybe it was a gentlemens agreement!

Not in riding order.
