Could this meeting see the introduction of ssamyarse to the delights of live speedway?

Well, I'll be heading over to Barbaria for this one to guide Mr and Mrs ssamyarse through their first visit to speedway. And it should be a good one, with the very impressive Chris Holder leading the high-flying Islanders. Holder's duels with James Wright should be sensational to watch.

If the entertainment on view is as good as Saturday just past - then eveyone is in for a treat . Holder certainly is the man to watch ( after the messiah of course ) in the PL .

28.07.07 is Redcar Paul !!! IOW is 4th August Is it? I checked on the Workington website before I posted this thread, so it must've been a recent change. Oh well, young ssamyarse and his wife will just have to put up with the former world champion Gary Havelock.

I checked on the Workington website before posting the thread and it said Isle of Wight, but if Liz says Redcar, I'm inclined to go with Redcar. Edit: And the Workington site is still showing the Isle of Wight as being at Derwent Park this Saturday: www.workingtonspeedway.com/fixtures.html

Well I have in my list that we have Redcar this week and IOW the following week so unless there has been a change in the past week Im not sure...Redcar site also says they are away at workington this Sat 28th July, would of course have made more sense for us to have IOW in the light that they are at Glasgow the next day

Ah, what the hell, we'll turn up and so will at least two teams.
Edit:
Okay, looked again and the printable version of the fixtures on the Workington website shows that Redcar should've been at Derwent Park on May 19th, 2007. This date was then taken by the Isle of Wight for a cup fixture, leaving the Redcar fixture to be arranged, I guess. The Isle of Wight league fixture is still shown as being July 28th, 2007. But the unprintable fixtures on the website, which one assumes are up to date, shows the Isle of Wight this weekend. The BSPA website is following Liz and showing Redcar as the visitors to Workington this weekend, but isn't showing a fixture for Workington on August 4th, 2007. However, Redcar are at Berwick on August 4th, 2007.

Okay, the BSPA website is showing the Isle of Wight being at Berwick this Saturday and Glasgow on Sunday. So, it looks like I'm going to miss out on seeing Chris Holder this season. And there was I thinking I was going to see him twice. A bit miffed about the Workington website, to be honest. Shocking that it's showing the incorrect fixture.
