And the world would surely stop turning if the greater Compton didn't remain at Sheffield in 2008.

PL showcase or pointless waste of time meetings that mean very little. Compton is almost unbeatable at home and consistently one of the top half dozen opposition heat leaders to visit Saddlebow each year, worth 3 Ashworths as shown in the 75-15 meeting when Andre took a tumble in his first heat I know some class him as a 'dirty' rider but I have seen far worse from many other riders (Lynn included) and he is one of the few opposition riders to look for a team mate when the chance arises, really stepped up when made captain in 2006

You can't go by these events. There are lots of riders who do crap at them.

Be they waste of time meetings or me an Elite League snob (help me out here LW ), it doesn't alter the fact that Andre Compton has seriously failed to impress me. I can't argue with the fact he's always there or thereabouts at the top of Sheffield's averages, but you can only judge as you see can't you?

Since Sheffield seem to own the contracts of about half the riders in the league , their team selection every year must take a bit of more thought than everybody else .

Apparently one of their riders has shown a lack of respect and handed in transfer request hot on the heels of Kyle Legover to the annoyance of the promotion.

Yes, but apparently it was a rider who was overlooked for a team place this year just gone, so no surprises really, riders do often find the grass is greener on the other side when they have a year away.

I guess he reminds me of Damian Dryml in many ways. Ah, that's better. Don't agree with you at all this time Kev... Compton is a complete nutcase and his move on Stead in the PLRC was the most dangerous I've ever seen. He was lucky he didn't kill them both. Lukas, in contrast, in almost angelic. ;D ;D As for ambition, Compton has none, while Saint Dryml is a driven man who has overcome some dreadful injuries to get back into the Grand Prix series.

I'm not sure what you're on genghis, but it must be illegal - it's certainly mind bending.
