So who won the award by the Speedway Riders' Association for the best prepared track of 2007?
Surprise, surprise - it was Edinburgh! Last year the Armadale track came second to Wolverhampton but this year it went one better.
Congratulations to Alan Bridgett again.

The judges must have went one Friday when it wasn't as bald as John Campbell's head . One or two bevvies administered in the George Hunter lounge methinks ;D

The judges were the riders. You know...the ones who know what they are talking about

A lot of riders cant ride Armadale at all . I find it hard to believe that you're having difficulty swallowing!! I've seen you in the act and a more proficient swallower I've yet to see. As for riders who can't ride Armadale - the good ones have no bother at all (and why should they have on the best prepared track in British Speedway?). It's only the 'less skilled' who have difficulty turning the bike hard who have problems. By the way, my friend, you missed out the 'Congratulations Doc Bridgett' from your post. His other track - Wolverhampton - was runner up while Eastbourne came third and Somerset fourth. Stadium of mince? Nah - track of excellence! ;D

So what happened to the moans from the Monarch's faithful at various home reverses last season . e.g. Why is the track so slick when we haven't any gaters in our team .

Being slick doesn't mean it isn't well prepared.
Obviously the majority of riders who rode the track like the way it was prepared no matter what the fans think.
Come on Paulco be a man and just swallow that dented pride ;D

Isn't Shane Parker head honcho at the SRA - perhaps paulco senses betrayal from the Messiah? How could he allow such a thing to happen? He ought to keep his members in line.

I have been ungracious to our nearest and dearest neighbours on the honour bestowed on them . My humble apologies and may your track forever be the best prepared . Especially when the messiah rolls up to score his customary maximum . ;D
