I will be there most probably . Is it my turn or yours to buy the drinks? Look forward to seeing you again my friend. I didn't see much racing last weekend since I was at the GP so I'm looking forward to this one. Hope we get a decent result resulting in disappointment for the Glasgow Gloaters again! Jeez have I just put a hex on it!

I'd have said the splendid Monarchs Chatzone would provide updates, they usually do, but it seems everyone must be going to the meeting as there don't appear to be any there.

An absolute tragedy of biblical proportions that the moral victor , The Messiah , was denied victory after being top scorer and being on a different level classwise to everyone else . Time to scrap this final nonsense . What about George how crap was he . And what about the dust on the 1st bend Myself and Goldmember were like a couple of chimney sweeps by the finish . Good meeting though and a deserved win for Shane Parker . And why is there a smiley missing ?

Good meeting though and a deserved win for Shane Parker . And why is there a smiley missing ? Shane Parker was the 'moral' victor?! No he wasn't; he couldn't even get on the rostrum! He was beaten by Nermark in heat 8 in a heat rerun after Daniel had taken a heavy fall and crashed into Cameron Woodward. Then Nermark creamed them all in the final. The only points Nermark dropped were in heat 1 when he had to come off the difficult gate 4 (difficult in heat 1) with Doolan and Henry inside him and in heat 20 won by Woffinden when Nermark knew that second place guaranteed him a place in the semi-final. Of course it was the format to blame. Because Parker finished with the highest points total on the night he should have just been declared the winner. Aye - right. Shall we tell the Grand Prix guys to change their format too! ;D George's engine was ready to blow and he didn't want to risk his 'Newcastle' engine because it's needed tomorrow afternoon. That's why he withdrew. Dust? what dust? If you experienced some of the stuff which is one of the trademarks of Ashfield on a warm Sunday afternoon why didn't you stand somewhere else? I know there was a huge crowd but you could have found somewhere else - like in the bar?

And you know full well you canny see from the bar - plus watching speedway from behind glass is sacrilege. Aye sorry i missed you Merlin , i gather you were slumming it in one of the hospitality cabins ;D We are going to have one of our little get togethers in the Hampton on the saturday in between the Scottish derbies ;D

Who is going to win then? GM thinks it could be.................. ::)Nermark Would you feckin' believe it! Should always bet on what you instincts tell you. Thought Nermark looked fast all night, however two/three riders that shone all night for me were 'the messiah', young Wuffy and Doolan. Shane deserved to win overall i think, how many times was he leading when the race got stopped so rather unfortunate there your messiahness. Young Wuffy was on the PC-line for most of the night and making it work quite successfully. Doolan was racing hard all night, never gave up and looked like he had a ball. As paulco says at times it was like a dust storm, which is not like Armadale at all. Good meeting, hard racing, Nermark was excellent although a wee bit lucky at times. The 'messiah' just about made it in the final ftg, but was most consistent all night.
