So, will our very own paulco be braving the Lothian Arena tonight to see George Stancl cross the great divide and make his debut as a not-so-merry Monarch? If he doesn't decide to don a false beard and wig, he can watch the drama unfold at the splendid Monarchs Chatzone: www.monarchs-chatzone.co.ukWill George make the Monarchs merry again, or will the Rockets of Rye House outgun Edinburgh's own pocket rocket Ronnie Correy?

Still dry north of the border , so as long as it stays that way the false beard and wig will be getting an airing tonight .

I assume the weather north of the border didn't hold. The fixtures must be piling up for just about everyone now.

It's getting silly now . Rain held till a couple of hours before the start then Mr Rain God decided everyone would be better off watching Coronation Street . I feel sorry for the travelling fans who have spent a lot of money on their 3 day northern tour . I know from experience how they must be feeling and i hope this weekend is not a total washout for them .

I believe the forecast for tomorrow around here is for a fine day - the only fine day in the five day forecast.

Well, I'll get to see a meeting regardless. If Berwick doesn't happen (and I believe it will happen), I'll just watch Poland in the SWC at Vojens, which just puts me at odds with most around here - they all seem to be following Denmark.

Actually I'm not. I don't mind who wins, but my avatar is the one most likely to upset those who think it's imperative to show support for GB. They don't mind if you support Poland, but Denmark really upsets them.
