www.speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.37742CRAIG Cook will be back to lead Glasgow’s Championship challenge again next season.
Cook has been a huge success at Ashfield since his mid-summer arrival in 2018, and his first full year with the club saw the Tigers narrowly miss out on the league title against Leicester in the Grand Final.
Manager Cami Brown said: “Since Craig came in, it has felt like the whole dynamic of the team and the club has changed, he's been that important to us.
“He is the best rider in the league bar none. We always feel with him in the side that he's going to score double-figures and the rest of the team then need to compete for the remaining points, he's that reliable and that good.
“I think there's more to the connection with Craig, though, than just being a good rider - he's so important behind the scenes for the other guys in the team and the management.”
