After HT 1, and the first of many 5-1s for the home side had just occurred , JDC done a rain dance and got it rained-off . Just as well really as i didn't fancy Craig Watson ( Brummie guest tonight ) on the same wet track as Desperate Deek .

Although i suppose the difference with the Birmingham track tonight was the absence of the Sky cameras, when they sort of managed to get the Sheffield match run .

That would be carnage young paulco But the desperate one doesn't need rain to cause carnage, surely? And no one ever explained to me why he's desperate. Hasn't he had you know what in baby who knows how long?

Hasn't he had you know what in baby who knows how long? It's either to do with mad desperate lunges and wiping out the entire contents of the heat in the process . But with the Grand Monarch in the refs box he usually gets away with it . Or it's maybe some obscure reference to his previous vocation in the car test-driving business .

I just know that one of these weeks you will be nominating Mr McGregor as "flapperjack of the week".

Flapperjack is a word i certainly haven't used when he's been refereeing a Tigers match . Plenty of other descriptions beginning with F , but as of yet not flapperjack .
