KENT have handed a Championship team place to veteran Rob Ledwith who returned to the sport with the Central Park club this year.
48-year-old Ledwith previously appeared at second tier level with Rye House, King’s Lynn and predominantly Arena-Essex between 1989 and 1995, and he’s now excited to make the move back up after his National League comeback in 2019.
Said Ledwith: “My first season for the Kings has given me a great foundation for the step up to Championship racing and although I’ll be lining up against some fast and very talented opposition, I will start the 2020 season with a good understanding of my equipment/engines etc and will be race-ready from the get go!
“I will be working very hard testing over the winter and ensuring I’m fully fit - really can’t wait!”

The successful comeback by Rob Ledwith for Kent Kings in 2019, albeit at National League, considering his age - a more than gentle 40 plus - was excellent. Good wishes to him for further success in 2020.
