SHEFFIELD have announced the return of their former title winner Josh Grajczonek to Owlerton.
The Australian was a vital member of the Tigers’ 2017 Championship-winning line-up and now rejoins them for their top-flight elevation, having previously captained Poole.
Promoter Damien Bates said: “Josh has remained a good friend of the club since that 2017 season and has been back to watch the occasional meeting.
“He has the experience and the pedigree in the top level and we’re delighted to have him back.”
The Premiership newcomers have also agreed a deal with Suffolk-based Tru Plant to take over as main team sponsors in 2020.
Bates added: “This is yet more positive news to come out of the club and we cannot thank Guy (Nicholls) enough. We look forward to extending a warm welcome to him and his guests here at Owlerton.
“At the same time we would also like to offer our sincere thanks and appreciation to Ian Hunter and his team at Sheffield Window Centre for their loyal support down the years.”www.speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.37729
