I'm not sure if anyone can help me on this one, but I'm rather banking on one particular fellow being a possibility. I'm after the track record for White City Stadium at the end of 1968......was the record broken in '68?, as I know it was 76.2 (Barry Briggs 14/5/1967) at the end of '67. Hampden Park at the end of 1972? Blantyre was 67.8 by Brian Collins at the end of 1977 when the track was shortened and Steve Lawson then recorded the fastest time of 64.0 when they moved out at the end of '81, so I'm OK on that one! Craighead Park was 263 meters long at the end of 1983, and 275 meters when they again moved at the end of 1986, so two needed for that one. Shawfield had three different track lengths over the years, 332 meters at the end of '92 when the record was 65.4 held by Chris Louis (3/6/90), Andy Galvin (17/6/90), Mark Blackbird (26/5/91), Steve Regeling (30/6/91), Steve Lawson (18/8/91), Jason Lyons (25/8/91)!!!! But I need '95 and '98 when the track was 302 and 311 meters respectively. And finally, as everyone knows, the Messiah holds the current record around Ashfield which is 57.6. Any help would be much appreciated.

Shane set the new time of 57.3 in Heat 3 of the league match against Newcastle on the 26th of August 2007 . The other track records will take a great deal more bit of digging .

Can't wait until I tell Paulco ;D What's this In fairness Braveheart , he has an excuse - he's English Anyway these are the track records for the various tracks, when they were set , and these were the records that were standing when the tracks closed . White City 76.2 Barry Briggs 14-5-65 Hampden Park 71.8 Jim McMillan 15-7-71 Coatbridge 67.8 Peter Collins 17-9-76 Blantyre 1 64.0 Steve Lawson ( who else ;D) 6-6-80 Craighead Park 58.0 Martin Dixon 14-6-86 Shawfield 62.2 Brian Andersen 2-6-96 . Hope that's of some help to you Kev .

Is it true that the British Damian Dryml keyrings actually have a blank piece of paper where his picture should be If you want the pictured version you have to buy it on the continent, so I'm told. ;D

The British version of the Lukas Dryml keyring actually have a miniaturised medical certificate instead of a photo, everyone knows that. ;D ;D

;D Genghis, it's amazing isn't it, how we've managed to infiltrate almost every thread on this forum with our D(r/r)yml banter at one stage or other.
