Is there any news on the line-up yet for this one? Should be heading to the 'messiahdome' for this meeting, as its normally a cracking meeting.

It's pencilled in for the 21st , but if we overcome Redcar in the Young Shield today, it might have to be put back a week . And you cant really book riders when you cant tell them when the meeting actually is .

Provisional line-up for Sunday - 1 Kauko Nieminen 2 Was to be David McAllan , but i would doubt that . 3 Trent Leverington 4 James Grieves 5 Lee Dicken 6 Lee Complin - if fit 7 George Stancl 8 Chris Kerr 9 Craig Watson - if fit 10 Robert Ksiezak - if fit 11 Jari Makinen 12 Filip Sitera 13 Kenneth Hansen 14 Claus Jacobsen 15 Derek Sneddon 16 Simon Stead A few question marks about some of the riders as regards fitness . Not the most inspiring of fields - thats the trouble with these end of season events . No sign of the Weirdity Sub , or for that matter Phil Morris

Sitera looks an interesting one - didn't he win the Tomicek Memorial in Prague recently?

Well, according to slav, he should've been thrown out of the meeting in Wroclaw when Davey Watt got injured and then he had something of a set-to with Andersen in the Tomicek Memorial meeting. So, I guess you should start looking for shelter when he comes up against the "Desperate" one.

McAllan , Watson , Grieves and Complin have been replaced by Franc , James Wright , Ashworth and Lyons . Also Simon Stead's name has disappeared from the rider list .

Revised field for the classic is - 1 Kauko Nieminen 2 Josef Franc 3 Trent Leverington 4 Ricky Ashworth 5 Lee Dicken 6 Jason Lyons 7 George Stancl 8 Chris Kerr 9 Sean Stoddart 10 Robert Ksiezak 11 Jiri Maakinen 12 Filip Sitera 13 Kenneth Hansen 14 James Wright 15 Derek Sneddon .......boo 16 to be advised Meeting starts at 4 p.m. and will cost you an extra quid to get in . £13 it will be - but for that you also get to complain about Graham Flint , who will be the referee . Looking forward to seeing young Sitera in action , with one eye on 2008 .

Thats not a bad looking line up. It looks better than the Ippo 16 Lapper, or as I call it now, the Chris Louis 16 Lap Pension Fund ,as he has won it virtually every year

The golem Flint, but no Weirdity - I think you can all make an educated guess as to whether an old Mongol will be among the heathens this Sunday.

The day has finally arrived, yes today sees the staging of the 'biggest' meeting in Scotland. Who will take the prize money home this afternoon? GM's bet is on Jason Lyons with the PLRC whippet pushing him close. Looking forward to this meeting. Hope the weather is ok in the holyland of the messiah. Hopefully catch up with paulco with a pit stop in the bar maybe if Mrs G. will kindly drive 1st Jason Lyons 2nd James Wright 3rd Filip Sitera Place your predictions weirdos................................

Agree with your winner , but Mr Neiminen will be there or thereabouts . Even if your wife is driving Goldmember , remember to bring your driving license . On the parade for todays meeting we want everyone to wave their driving license at Desperate Deek . ;D

If the desperate one wins a race today, are they going to play 'National Express' by the divine comedy? ;D

He'll be there - ready to confront his cackling keyboard critics.
I'll probably be there too although I'm not that impressed with the line up. Still it will be my last match of the year I guess so it will be a chance to say cheerio for 2007 to whats left of my Tiggerati friends.
