I couldn't manage this weeks meetings in deepest , darkest Englandshire . But it seems my beloved Tigers acquited themselves well against the champions last night , going down 52-40 . As we were a man down , Wato's missus got skelped by some joyriding scumbag , it was a good performance with the Messiah superb as usual - weighing in with 18 points and well supported by Trent who scored 11 . Tonight at Redcar i think we are at full strength , although getting information is difficult from Redcar as it's a secret - known only to the Redcar forum . But my good friend , Lioness , has informed me Trent and Redcar's frog have had a coming together and Trent is out of the meeting with concussion .

trent's injury came about after Matty and he both made the gate and as Matty got on the right line round the bends and trent was inside him. Trent tried to lean on him and when Matty pulled away Trent lost balence and crashed.
No-ones fault really, as both riders went all out on the 1st/2nd bend.

You were there , i wasn't so i cant comment . But losing Trent in his first race ( as he's been flying recently ) was a major blow to our chances . To end up only losing by 10 is a good achievement .

This appeared on the Official Glasgow website yesterday:
Trent Leverington suffered head and pelvic injuries following a sickening crash in his first race at Redcar last night. Following a full check up and x-rays at the local hospital in Middlesborough, Trent was discharged in the early hours of this morning. A full update on his condition will appear prior to our meeting this Sunday.
