Just about to leave for my third meeting this weekend ;D . And it should be a cracker . The mighty Tigers will have their hands full against the Isle of Wight and a certain Mr Holder in particular . I'm predicting The Messiah will put the young upstart in his place .

They should meet each other twice during the meeting: Hts 5 and 15. I suspect an honourable draw, with Holder winning in Ht 5 and Parker in Ht 15.

We will be using r/r for David McAllan today as the Stoke riders put him in the fence once too often last night . Back and neck injuries was the outcome and everyone bar the messiah can take a ride .

And the Messiah seems to have lost out to Holder 1-0, since Holder won their duel in Ht 5 and then, unfortunately, crashed in Ht 11 and appears to have taken no further part in the meeting: he was excluded for failing to beat the 2 minutes for Ht 13 and wasn't nominated for Ht 15. It looks like the weather played a major part in the meeting and one wonders whether it was altogether wise to continue. But I wasn't there, so perhaps it wasn't as bad as it looked reading the updates at Easy Tiger.

Certainly was very tricky early on and the IOW riders looked the more comfortable on it with Wato , in particular , looking decidedly wary on it . Holder was unfortunate to get caught up in a bit of 1st bend bunching , and should never have been excluded . So the weather robbed us of our last chance to appreciate Holder north of the border , but i was just relieved to come out of the meeting with two points . But the real highlight was Goldmember coming up to me and buying me a pint ;D Good to meet you mate .

Yes, i made a trip through to Ashfield yesterday to witness the battle of the messiah against the young Holder. Sadly the bloody weather spoiled the meeting, although there was some decent passes and racing with Wurzel making a decent pass on the 1st and 2nd turns(good to see him get a good score). Main highlight of the day was a visit to the bar with the jovial paulco, splendid fellow indeed. Nice to finally meet you mate.

Any time you're up mate - you know where to find me now ( and it wasn't in the bar incidentally ). Let me know if you're going to be up for the Berwick meeting in September, along with Sub , as i know an exceedingly good chippie that , so i'm reliably informed , does a very tasty fish supper . So i might even treat the both of you to lunch .

Sounds like a plan ;D I dont know if Sub has made an appearance at Ashfield before?
:'(Note: Just looked at the fixtures mate, I'm away on my honeymoon when the Bandits are in town. However, if the Scottish Triangle takes place, GM and the lovely, young, lady may take a trip through as we will still be on holiday! ;D

I think the Scottish Triangle may have been scrapped.

I think the Scottish Triangle may have been scrapped. Was only just a programme filler if needed anyway . And with all the rain-offs , especially at Berwick , that have been suffered -i'm afraid the Scottish Triangle will be consigned to the dustbin .
