It is with some concern that I have to advise members that the administration of this forum continues to be violated by a hacker.
I would also advise members that his actions in no way have any effect on members activities on the group.
THEY ARE DIRECTED SOLELY AT THE GROUP. These actions have involved posting messages that have no relationship to topics being discussed on The Weird World of Speedway. Mainly they appear to be placed with a sole objective of causing this group's Moderator problems in regard to ensuring they have a short stay on the board culminating in their removal from The Weird World of Speedway.
In recent days time has been wasted in cross-checking the membership list to ensure that only bona-fide members are detailed. Any with a 'suspicious appearance' have been removed from the Members List.
Bu there have been a series of 'guest posts' placed in the SHOUTBOX. These messages were also removed but I have managed to trace the IP address of the poster and have detailed them on SHOUTBOX.
I am one of several people who have taken on the role of this forum's 'main Moderator' but unfortunately the way the group was originally constructed I have been unable to enter the original layout system. The is a matter I have referred to the forum's server PROBOARDS and hope to further solve all existing problems in regard to how this group was initially installed and. where needed, take needed action.
My main action at the current time is to remove the SHOUTBOX facility.
In regard to hacking, I have my suspicions in regard to the originator of this problem. Why he is following negative action against THE WEIRD WORLD OF SPEEDAY is hard to understand but doubtless his deed do satisfy in all probability something that is lacking in his real life - but that is only conjecture on my part.
