Things have taken a turn for the weird in Tarnow. Tarnow is reputed to be putting together a "dream team" for 2012, but as things stand the club faces serious issues relating to the 2011 campaign that mean an Ekstraliga licence for 2012 may not be issued. The club has outstanding debts to a number of riders resulting from certain sponsorships not realising the sort of cash expected. And that in itself is as a result of the poor results the team achieved in 2011. In light of that, the club's legal representatives are seeking redress from certain riders, including Sebastian Ulamek:

Sebastain Ulamek is owed 882,400.40 zloty, but the club states that the team's performances cost it 3,790,697.00 zloty. Thus, according to the club, Ulamek is liable for 2,908,296.60 zloty. And it's much the same for former Hammer Krzysztof Kasprzak:

Kasprzak, whom Tarnow twice banned from riding in the Elite League in 2011, is owed 689,843.47 and again the lost sponsorship revenue is 3,790,697.00 meaning the club sees Kasprzak as owing it 3,100,853.53. So, the club claims to have lost around 3,8 million zloty and somehow is trying to claim a little over six million in compensation from Ulamek and Kasprzak alone.
Needless to say, Ulamek's legal representatives think the whole thing is absurd:

And as clubs have to be debt-free to gain an Ekstraliga licence a protracted legal dispute would call into question the validity of granting Tarnow an Ekstraliga licence for 2012. Moreover, the likes of Greg Hancock, Janusz Kolodziej and Maciej Janowski might start to get "cold feet" over their deals with Tarnow for 2012.
