Well it looks like there's at least one car load of us coming down for this. My first ever visit to Swindon. I'm after some info please, we usually like to go by the tapes to watch our Speedway is it standing or terracing there..? Anyway I'm looking forward to it, will be nervous as hell though. I'm not expecting a win, it's going to be tough tough tough, but hey you never know... I'm glad to see not everyone on here has changed their BSF avatars to Robins ones...

Its all standing on home straight , with some bars/fence thingys. Some steps right at back against wall of main building. Nice grassy banks all round for viewing.
i recommend the Bees fans organise a visible spot (pits bend?)- we lack that tradition at Swindon for away fans - unlike the 4th bend at Smallmead for example. And get in club colours.

unlike the 4th bend at Smallmead for example Or even the third bend dammit - its like a mental tic - I always say 4th no matter how often I go there or how pissing "THIRD!!!" it is. You know when you make a mistake and then every time you write or say anything connected to it you remember the error more than the answer? And then get it wrong? Maybe not - but my thinking is riddled with such damaged sectors......

Take a torch if you stand anywhere other than the home straight Jacques - lighting around the rest of the stadium is pish.
Actually thinking of popping along to Swindon for the first leg myself.

Not only is the lighting pish Jacques, so is the view. My advice would be to (take a torch ) and head for the top of the banking on the third bend.
