Can Witches Blunt The Panthers Claws
Peterborough Panthers will probably not be looking forward to their trip to Foxhall Stadium tomorrow evening following the Witches’ televised demolition of Swindon last week.
Newcomers Chris Slabon and Ales Dryml have certainly turned Ipswich into a much more potent force in recent weeks and team boss Pete Simmons is confident that the recent good form will continue: “Chris Slabon and Ales seem to be really dialled in to the new Foxhall circuit now and the side has a really solid look to it. I think we’re going to be a really tough act to beat on our own track now and I still believe we can avoid the dreaded wooden spoon”.
There is still some doubt about the fitness of Robert Miskowiak and Richie Hawkins is on standby at number eight in the event that the Witches are forced to use rider replacement for the injured Pole. Swedish Bombshell Linus Sundstrom returns to the line-up to partner Dawid Stachyra in the reserve berths where Ipswich look to have the edge on their Peterborough counterparts.
Jeff Scott will be at Foxhall tomorrow to sign copies of his new book, "Shale Trek".
